Gisella Rose is an ancestral alchemist, artist, professional genealogist, embodiment guide, and award-winning author. She is the creator of Ancestral Alchemology, a method for meeting lineage through the body - and the author of ELIXIR: A Journey into Ancestral Alchemology. She is also the host of SOMAmagical - The Podcast with Gisella Rose, where she explores ancestral alchemy, astrology, embodiment, and body-based magic.

Her work weaves together genealogy, somatic astrology, elemental exploration, movement, meditation, embodied ritual, and alchemical embodiment. Central to her approach is the exploration of the subtle body and its relationship to the physical body, rooting mystical experience into lived, tangible reality and cultivating a felt relationship with mystery within the mundane.

Gisella’s work engages ancestral memory and inherited patterns, including both trauma and ancestral gifts, with an emphasis on reclaiming and activating what has been carried forward as strength, wisdom, and creative potential. Her work supports body activation and self-led change, inviting individuals to access their own capacity to shape and manifest transformation in their lives.

A near-death experience in early childhood shaped her lifelong relationship with liminal space and deepened her orientation toward the unseen, where the living and the dead, the remembered and the unnamed, are held in respectful relationship. In the years that followed, movement became a central thread of her life. She began dancing at a young age and later spent over a decade as an international circus arts and sideshow performer, known professionally as Gisella Rose, The Pain Proof Artiste.

As an ancestral alchemist and intuitive mystical artist, her offerings include Ancestral Alchemology, InBodying Astrology, and Past Life Exploration. She is currently in the creative birthing of a new offering, Essendance - a contemporary path of alchemical embodiment, devotional arts, and transformation. Gisella also walks a modern, non-dogmatic priestess path - something new and old - rooted in ancestral wisdom and a return to ancestral exploration and connection.
